I recently received my Ph.D. from the Department of Zoology at the University of Toronto in the lab of Dr. Richard Elinson. My thesis entitled 'Eleutherodactylus coqui orthologues of VegT and Vg1 and their localization during early development', examined RNA localization in the large oocyte of a direct developing frog in comparison to the current anuran model, Xenopus laevis . Shown here are a couple of later stage embryos. In my position at the Center for Cell Dynamics I am a molecular resource for members of the center, facilitating their research by performing molecular experiments associated with their current projects.
